Shipping policy

 

Orders will be shipped from the Verse warehouse in Nixa, Missouri via UPS and USPS.

We typically process orders within 3-5 business days. Once we’ve shipped your chocolate, you’ll receive an email with tracking information. Orders placed before 12pm PST will ship same day (order quantities permitting). Any order placed during the weekend will ship the following Monday. Once shipped, your order should arrive within 3 business days.*

 

We do our best to ensure that the product arrives during the guaranteed shipping window, however, Verse is not responsible for delays by our shipping carrier. Please note, if you choose to ship via USPS the delivery time is not guaranteed. If we foresee any delays to your shipment, we will get in touch with you.

 

FREE SHIPPING

 

Verse offers free standard shipping on all orders over $35 during the months of October to April. Taxes and discounts do not attribute to the minimum purchase requirement. Exceptions apply to Hawaii and US territories as Express Delivery fees still apply due to extreme weather and transit times.

 

WARM WEATHER SHIPPING

 

Summertime and the livin’ is easy… unless you’re a chocolate medallion. Chocolate is sensitive to the heat and will easily melt at temperatures above 75ºF. No matter the time of year, we check the weather at the destination site before shipping to determine the safest shipping protocol for your chocolate.

 

What VERSE is doing to keep your chocolate from melting.

 

When summer hits, from May to September, we implement the following Summer Shipping Protocol.

 

  • ALL shipments will include insulation and reusable cold packs.
  • Chocolate is shipped Monday through Thursday during hot weather/summer months. This ensures that your chocolate doesn’t sit in a hot delivery truck or transit warehouse over a weekend.
  • We’re not able to ship to P.O. Boxes in summer months.

 

What YOU can do to keep your chocolate safe.

 

We highly recommend using a shipping address where the chocolate can be received by someone upon delivery or be placed inside a climate-controlled interior space (eg. apartment building lobby). If you are not there to receive the package and the chocolate is left outside to melt, we are not able to refund your order.

  

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

 

We offer international shipping in cool weather months. Unfortunately, we’re not able to ship outside of the continental U.S. in the summer between May and September.

  

HOLIDAYS

 

Verse observes the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve. If you order on these holidays, we’ll ship your order following business day.
